Our custom solid brass hardware is durable, recyclable, and crafted with low zinc content to reduce environmental impact. It requires less energy to produce, minimises reliance on harmful zinc mining, and offers corrosion resistance for a long lifespan.

Spot clean

• Rinse with lukewarm water and air dry.

Deep clean

• If the rope requires a more thorough wash, soak it in lukewarm water with mild detergent for no more than 5 minutes. Softly brush any dirt off the rope with the soft side of a sponge, rinse, and air dry.

Extra Care Advice

• Rinse the entire item with clean water after extended exposure to the beach or saltwater. Dry with a cloth or allow it to air dry.
• Occasionally, use a soft toothbrush to remove any debris build-up between the smaller solid brass parts, like buckles or clasps.
• Do not dry in direct sunlight or near heating sources.

For large and heavier dogs that tend to pull, we recommend choosing our flat webbing or premium leather-like leashes, instead of rope. The flat structure provides more grip and a more comfortable, easier hold than rope, especially when the leash is frequently pulled.

Use and Attention points

For first time users: Want to try the cross-body or around your waist, hands-free function of our adjustable rope leash but haven’t used it before? We recommend starting slow.
If you’re new to using a hands-free leash, begin in a quiet, low-distraction area like your backyard or a calm park. This gives both you and your dog time to adjust to the new walking arrangement without overwhelming distractions.

When using the cross-body and hands-free function in a busy area for the first time, keep your hand close to the leash. This allows you to redirect your dog and intervene quickly if needed, such as when your dog attempts to pull or step in front of you unexpectedly.

Please be mindful
Ensure your dog is comfortable walking at a consistent pace beside you before fully relying on the hands-free function. If your dog tends to pull, gets overexcited, or is easily spooked during walks, it’s best to wait before using the cross-body function. This is especially important when walking larger or stronger dogs, as their weight and pulling force could throw you off balance and potentially cause a fall.
