Hemp Fibres
Hemp is one of the strongest natural fibres with minimal environmental impact. It uses up to 50% less water than cotton, grows rapidly, and improves soil health while absorbing CO₂. As a renewable resource, it can be harvested annually with minimal pesticide use, reducing soil and water pollution.

Low-Zinc Solid Brass Hardware
Our custom solid brass hardware is durable, recyclable, and crafted with low zinc content to reduce environmental impact. It requires less energy to produce, minimises reliance on harmful zinc mining, and offers corrosion resistance for a long lifespan.

Short Supply Chain
The vast majority of our materials are exclusively sourced and produced within the same regions of Italy where our products are made. This reduces environmental impact, such as a smaller carbon footprint, while fostering strong relationships with our production partners and supporting the local economy.

That occasional bit of extra love and care will keep your items in top shape.

Spot Clean:

• Rinse with lukewarm water, clean with a damp cloth, and air dry.

Deep Clean:

• Soak the harness for 5 minutes in lukewarm water with mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly, and air dry.

This harness can be machine washed with care (Limit to several times per year)

• Place the harness in a durable fabric wash bag to protect the hardware, and ensure the buckles are closed.

• Wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C on a gentle, low spin cycle.
• Make sure the washing machine is at mid to full load.
• Air dry the harness; do not tumble dry.

Extra Care Advice:

• Rinse the entire item with clean water after extended exposure to the beach or saltwater. Dry with a cloth or allow it to air dry.

• Occasionally, use a soft toothbrush to remove any debris build-up between the smaller parts of the buckles or clasps.

• Do not dry in direct sunlight or near heating sources.

With 5 adjustment points our Hey Scout harnesses are designed to fit comfortably and allow free movement for your dog. Our harness does not cause any restriction, friction or injury to the skin, or any other discomfort. They are great for all dogs, but is an absolute must-have for dogs that pull more, robust breeds, or (young) dogs in training and sensitive dogs.

Although we offer our Hey Scout harnesses down to size extra small, for very small dog breeds our Mela Caspita mini harness might be a better fit. Please refer to our size guide for a perfect fit.

We offer a one-year warranty on defects in materials or workmanship, excluding normal wear and tear.
