Our Mela Basic collection features gorgeous, refined collars and leashes crafted from a 100% cruelty-free alternative to animal leather, made from the waste of apples grown for juice and jam in Northern Italy. An unique material is breathable, water-resistant, durable, and versatile, with a soft and supple grain texture adding to its appeal.

The leather industry is known for cruelty and it's huge environmental impact. That's why we use a vegan alternative made from Italian apple juice and jam byproducts.
