Size & Fit Guide
Martingales
How to measure
01 - Measure the base of the neck
Wrap a soft measuring tape around the base of your dog’s neck where the collar normally sits. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.
02 - Measure the top part of the neck Measure the most narrow part of your dog's neck. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.
03- Check the Measurement and Choose the Right Size– Note the measurement and compare it to the martigale size chart.

How to fit our martingale
01 - Adjust the collar
Slip the martingale collar over your dog's head. Adjust so that it sits comfortably around the neck when relaxed.
02 - Add Two Fingers for Comfort
A properly fitted martingale collar should allow two fingers spacing between your dog's neck and the collar. This prevents the collar from being too tight.
03- Check the Measurement
When tension is applied to the collar, it will naturally slide up to the narrowest part of your dog's neck. The brass sliders should never touch, otherwise it can choke your dog. It should be a tight fit to prevent escaping, but never cause discomfort.

More Use Tips
TIP 01
Size Up If Between Sizes
If your dog’s neck measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable and adjustable fit.
TIP 02
Check and Adjust Regularly
Dogs can gain or lose weight, so check the fit of their collar regularly to ensure it’s still comfortable and secure.
TIP 03
Take the collar off
Never leave a martingale on your dog unattended, especially if they play rough or stay in a crate.
TIP 04
Don't let the brass sliders touch
A properly fitted martingale should always be a comfortable fit, if the brass sliders touch, this can harm and choke your dog.
